Medication Refills
While receiving treatment from the GT Psychiatry Clinic, your physician will try to ensure that you have sufficient prescriptions to last until your next appointment. However, if you notice that you are running low on medication, call as soon as you realize that your supply is inadequate. If your medication is refilled between visits, it is important to keep your subsequent appointment. In general, if you have missed your appointment and received a refill, you must keep your next appointment to receive subsequent prescriptions. If you are out of medications and need a refill but are unable to contact your psychiatrist, Health Service’s Primary Care physicians are available daily for walk-in appointments. They can typically provide a prescription to last until your appointment with the psychiatrist. However, they do not refill certain medications such as Adderall, Ritalin, or Concerta
